What I see is plants at the water they are bright green. When the wind blows the long cattail like plants move with the wind. When looking under the plants I did not see any signs of livings animals this is probably because it is right on the path. Some of the plants leaves look pointy. The plants are low down to the ground and start at one spot and grow outwards. The plant life is not thick it is spread out. I saw small bugs when I looked.

Buffleheads in the surf.
A red-winged blackbird, or two, in a big flock of grackles.
I thought these might be two different Aythya spp because of the size difference, but it looks like they both are lesser scaups.
City geese eating bird food that someone had put out at a city park on the river.
Tame mallards at a city park, eating bird food that someone had left. A domestic hybrid mixed in?
