Where the water wasn’t pooled the creek was only about a meter wide. I found 2 streamside sals here, and one rock with two sets of eggs.
I didn’t travel very far as I would have liked along the stream because after a while I was in people’s backyards.

I found five of various sizes under a single log on a ravine
painted turtle hit by car. Shell repaired and turtle later released.
