Distinctive song from one side of creek to another red-wing on other side of creek. Red and yellow (thin) wing bars apparent in flight.
Flushed the pair out of the shrubbery and into the creek while I was walking by. Scared me to death!

We saw this otter relaxing on a log in a beaver pond. We assumed he had just ate since he seemed quite sleepy and satisfied basking in the sun.
