We saw this otter relaxing on a log in a beaver pond. We assumed he had just ate since he seemed quite sleepy and satisfied basking in the sun.
Blossoming in February. Crazy.

About 6 or more Clark's Nutcrackers flew through the area, picking at pinecones.
Coyote was still, then suddenly pounced into the snow! Held catch for several seconds and then picked it up in his mouth and ate it. This photo was taken after his meal, before he pranced off.
All fluffed up against the cold--it was 7 degrees out!
