I have a video, but I don't know how to upload videos. On the front claws, I can see a white band around the "wrists" and also white at the tips of the claws.
Sorry, this was a far-away zoom. You can see the shape, and the outside of the wings are white or light colored.
Seen on the beach at the end of the wave line. Please help me identify! Thanks!
Found in the Inglenook Fen
Located near the mouth of Pudding Creek. There is another species found at this site that is yet described by Barry Roth.
On baseball field
can't find my field guide, has the body shape and shape of markings, and size for a tiger salamander, but I'll admit I don't know if it needs to have yellow...looking online now, it looks like a giant california salamander. thoughts? How small are its eggs? we moved a board and found it, and also some eggs, that seemed too small (like 1 mm diameter) but maybe not, maybe I shold move them to under the new board location?
