Cliffs north of Westport-Union Landing, Mendocino Co., California. Probably the southern most range for this subspecies. Empty shells observed on the ocean cliff there.

Juvenile found at stream's edge. I had no idea they could swim, but it crossed a few inches of creek with no problem.
