Aka Red-faced Spider Monkey, or Red-faced Black Spider Monkey, is only found in upper canopy of undisturbed primary rainforests. This is one of 4 individuals watching me as I watched them foraging as they moved through the high canopy.

I wish I'd had more time with this glorious bird; a species which I hadn't seen since 1988. As it was not permitted to use flash, I had to use very high iso (1600) in the low light. The bird was even less co-operative on my second visit to this site.
