Snail in wetland in Lancaster, PA
(unranked): Core eudicots
Mostly weft fern (Crepidomanes intricatum), but on the right side, you can see the thalloid gametophyte of Appalachian shoestring fern (Vittaria appalachiana) peeking out. Crevice in a large mica schist outcrop, Kelly's Run.
Two adult males and a female at this pond today.
I can't tell if these are perhaps Female Redheads or some different type of duck?
My first ever observation of a Redhead. I will need help with these other ones, I can't tell if they're Redheads or not.
This bug just happened to land on my hand. Unusual because they are difficult to catch.
Loud. Very colorful. Did I mention LOUD!
This was my Mother's Rhubarb plant from up North Pa, Pittston.
Relocated to my house years ago, when she came to live with us. My Mom passed away this year, and not only did it bloom for the very first time, so did the our Hydrangea. Thanks Mom!
