Was at a falconry demonstration. The Gyrfalcon is very impressive flyer, but was more interested in other falconer's birds than the rock pigeons he spooked.
Leaking sap on Ash tree. I am unsure what the cause is. Leaves have small holes in them and some branches are dead.
Ash trees appear to have damage to trunks leaking sap. I found what appears to be sap beetles ( very small black beetles with 4 tan spots on back ) in the hole where the sap is leaking from.
Barn or great owl. Was large but don't recall pointy ear feathers in silhouette.
