I saw 5 of the huge tree squirrels along the Jordan River in Salt Lake City. I've lived here for decades, and never seen a Fox Squirrel in Utah. They are not native here,so I assume an introduced exotic, but they seem to be established,at least in this neighbourhood. I felt there presence here should be documented somehow.
Red-orange balls about the size if lentils. Growing in the crack of a fallen cottonwood tree.
Observed and photographed flying around the base of a dying cherry tree growing in a lawn.
Five females seen in this flower patch.
One of three in nest.
Notice deformed beak.
