Mushroom growing on the side of a path going from Bolton to Andover. It was particularly interesting with its almost tennis ball yellow color.

Harvestman found on side of house. It was white with a gray pattern going down the body.
Longhorn beetle found sitting on a branch. I picked it up after taking the photo, and it made a soft, almost hissing sound.
This leaf-footed bug nymph had thick tibiae, and was a shiny blue color with orange tips on the antennae.

Encountered in forest not far from large wetlands. Scutes were de laminating and color appeared faded. Do not know how long it had been dead.
Carapace 5"-6". Do not know cause of death. Nearby droppings are a mystery to me.
My technique has improved over the years and I have upgraded my little point and shoot camera.
Also, my interest in turtles has blossomed. Six years later, I wonder if I am seeing some of the same individuals as I frequent the same places.
My vision, never so great, has deteriorated some. Fortunately, some turtles are slow to scamper out of sight.
Heard this little turtle rustling in the leaves. Otherwise, it would have escaped observation.
Blind (?) in one eye, maybe it was deaf, too. Appeared elderly, spots faded ,carapace scars, plastron ridges worn down, wear and tear, female.
