My technique has improved over the years and I have upgraded my little point and shoot camera.

Also, my interest in turtles has blossomed. Six years later, I wonder if I am seeing some of the same individuals as I frequent the same places.

My vision, never so great, has deteriorated some. Fortunately, some turtles are slow to scamper out of sight.

Heard this little turtle rustling in the leaves. Otherwise, it would have escaped observation.

Blind (?) in one eye, maybe it was deaf, too. Appeared elderly, spots faded ,carapace scars, plastron ridges worn down, wear and tear, female.
