Fruiting on fallen conifer. Fruitbody shelflike, context soft and pliant. Hymenium gilled / serrate, unstaining.

While normally I wouldn't include photos of domestic cats, these were part of a feral colony living along the wharf and breakwater in Crecsent City, CA. To me, this puts them in the same wildlife category as feral donkeys and Rock Doves that while originated from domestic stock, are now living wild lives and are part of the ecology of the region.
