Not unusual, but adorable.
I've seen this bird at Chicago's North Pond in Lincoln Park a few times this year. I don't remember seeing it here in prior years.
This bird appeared to be stunned but otherwise unharmed. A museum volunteer created a temporary shelter for it outside where it could recover and be monitored.
Goose you are not supposed to be in that goose exclosure area what are you doing.
Found in the middle of a park driveway. (I moved it to the lawn.)
I've seen a fair number of these this year, but this one was a bit unusual because I saw it at about 8 pm, and it was on a busy sidewalk about a half a block away from Lincoln Park.

I work at navy pier Chicago. This was found dead on the pier, about 10 ft above the water line so I am assuming a seagull accidentally dropped it. Just curious what this was.
