Small American toad in the front garden at the FOTR office.
First herp of the year at edge of lake that was frozen except right near shore. Two leeches on it.
I could not get any good view of this bird other than its back and profile. I thought maybe coromont but not sure. The yellow bill may indicate that. It was large but I'm not sure if it's 33" long.
Adult and juvenile
2 steel phase
1 red phase
4 varying age, unknown sex dispersing from winter dwellings.
Can anyone verify this species?
