I saw two male juncos in this spot. They seemed to be unafraid of me. They were also fluffing their feathers to stay warm. The two males also reacted when a played a recording of a male dark eye junco on my itouch. They first fly to my left and then behind me.
I saw a female downy. She was pecking into a tree to get food.
Saw 3 snails. 2 adults, 1 young
I heard multiple frogs calling. At least 4 frogs were calling.
It was hawking for insects.
