Herring Gull in back
Appears to be in 2nd Year plumage. Was diving for fish near to shore, possibly driven westward by Hurricane Gonzalo.
This was at the extreme limit of my camera's lens, but thru binocs I could more clearly make out the non-breading plumage of a male and a female, as well as the long upward-pointed tail
