The needles were around 1 inch. They were also the shape of a sewing needle. They were green. There were about 20 per twig. I could wrap my arms around the trunk of the tree. It was shaped like a cylinder. It was brown. It looked healthy. The seeds were about as tall as the width of my hand. They looked like a 3-D oval. They were tan. I found them on the ground.
It looks like an owl. It has four lobes. There are insects and eggs on the back. It has a really big vein in the middle with extra smaller veins off of it.
Bottom of the leaf is rough.more red on the top. Leaf has teeth. They have lot of veins.
Tan-ish Orange and brown it is an animal in the forest, running to catch a squirrel for a meal.It also has webbed-like feet. Its tail looks like hair in the summer, but I think in the winter it's hair turns into white to camouflage so it can not be eaten by other predators.
