In this picture you can see the American Toad I rehabed's lawn mower injury.
I found this American Toad about two weeks ago unfortunately I found him by accidently cutting off the tip of its back right leg. I caught it and put it in an old terrarium I have and bought it some crickets and monitored its appetite. A few days ago I put him in the bath tub and found it could still swim fairly well so I decided it was time to release it. I know your supposed to release animals where you found them but my coop just hired a lawn maintence company and I didnt trust them to watch for toads. I decided to release him close by in a rain run off pond. It appeared happy to be back in the wild where it belonged.
I saw this Great Blue Heron preening its feathers near a saw river by Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario
I observed several Red-winged Blackbirds flying around the park
I watched three male American Robins on the ground in close proximity to each other chasing each other
Found near pond at south residence
We found a turtle on the sidewalk. I took a few pictures. It got scared from all the people and ran into the shrubery.
We found 2 crayfish in the oshawa creek. They were gray and one was bigger then the other.
a very slimy and small trout found here and beware of the ants they are out to get you!!!!

We founda lot of cray fish, fish, trees and lots more stuff
we saw crayfish,minnowes, frogs, ,
We were walking in the water, and then we found a random thing on the ground and ghess what it was! It was a jaw bone of an animal that we dont know.
