Raven investigating row of snowmobiles for unattended food. There are even warning signs inside the lodge for guests not to leave food inside their rooms near an open window screen, or the ravens will break through the screens and get inside the rooms.
Interesting to see this Bald Eagle sharing the tree with this pair of Ravens in the second shot. Neither seemed interested in the other.
Growing on Lodgepole Pine
This was one of four bison grazing on the south side of the West Entrance Road near Madison Campground. We saw 2 others on the north side of the road.

These are the other two elk (a cow with a calf) that we saw. This shot and the one of the calf were taken about 10 min before sunrise and were really stretching the limits of the camera and me hand holding it to shoot.

In Yellowstone NP last week for several days. Usual areas in Madison valley were devoid of elk. Only saw this one near the Madison campground and two others nearby (see http://www.inaturalist.org/observations/903547) on a different day. We heard wolves in the area which may explain the scarceness of elk.
