The chickadees in the backyard are busy feeding their chicks. This morning, they were coming back to the nest every 2-3 minutes!
These little guys were all over the park.
I want to say this is a Warbling Vireo since I've been hearing them around. But the body looks green enough to be a Tennessee Warbler.
Thought this was a thrasher at first because of the size and long tail. But a black eye line (smudge, really) made me think of shrikes. Its back was a uniform brown, however, a color more like cuckoos, and had a buffy-colored throat. Saw him sitting on a log on the ground next to Crystal Lake.
