This large, knotty tree was growing on the edge of a wetland area. It looked like there was a young tree with white bark growing out of an older branch - I don't know if that's an off-shoot of the same tree, or if a new seedling took root in some decayed matter.
Thrush-like bird hopping along the ground at the WRC bird feeder. Had light ring around eye and two dark stripes running from beak to back of head.
This spider has a red/orange dot on the rear end of its abdomen.
The white spots on the wings are odd, but it sure seems to be Calopteryx maculata.
Dozens of mating pairs.
