The closest ID I came up with is Self heal (Prunella vulgaris), but even that doesn't look right.
It looks like it's a ground-hugging plant.
I found this specimen in my apartment.
I found this individual under a flower umbel, near a stream, about 45 minutes before sunset.

Cut down a rotten ash tree. It was so rotten the insides had turned to soil. In the soil I found around 10 of these grubs. Any clue as to what type of grub?
