This blue flower was along the path in the Union Bay Natural Area, it was all over the place but I had a difficult time finding it in my field guide. Any help is much appreciated.
Very short stem with yellow flower. Very scarce.
Sequoia sempervirens Coast redwood growing in Lake Forest Park, Washington. I noticed this tree on one of my frequent walking routes, I must have walked past it hundreds of times without paying attention.
This tree is well outside it's natural range (California coast) but it seems to be doing well.
