I found this shrub in Yesler Swamp. It was about a meter tall. It has small yellow flowers as can be seen.

I am not sure if this is the black raspberry or not since I didn't see any fruit on it.
There were several of them in the Ravenna Park. The central part of them are green while the outer are turning yellow and brown.

This Plumose Anemone, about 3" across, surprised me by its orange color. Usually they are shades of white and brown.
This Western gray squirrel (Sciurus griseus) was one of about 20 we spotted in the Carl S. English Jr. Botanical Garden.
This Great Blue Heron was very intent on the water below the Chittenden Locks.
