Two falcons flew over us
It looks like a gull feather but I'm not sure which one.

Observed in Puget Sound (saltwater) about 20 yards from shore. It frequently dives to feed.
A rather large, black and red beetle as shown in the photo. Seemed to seek cover from the rain under large, fallen maple leaves.
Sequoia sempervirens Coast redwood growing in Lake Forest Park, Washington. I noticed this tree on one of my frequent walking routes, I must have walked past it hundreds of times without paying attention.
This tree is well outside it's natural range (California coast) but it seems to be doing well.

sea anemones and jellyfish. this coral came in different size and they looks pretty even though they are not moving.
this is one of the main attraction in seattle aquarium and it is marine mammals and it is so adorable.

Found this annoying flies at my friends apartment. since it is summer we can see a lot of flies.
