Bird photo taken near water. It has knobby knees with long legs. Pointy beak and a long neck that can stretch.
Any idea what kind of tree this is, or the moss growing on it?

So, my instructor told me this was a hairy crab that looks like kelp, but now I'm not so sure. It doesn't really look like the hairy crabs in other pictures, so maybe it is a type of decorator crab from the superfamily majoidea? It was found in a tidepool on Crescent Bay in the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Camouflaged well.
