Anthurium comtum Schott
found on a sycamore tree
About 2 cm across
Pulled it from my leg after 10 days.
It would be in a better form if I had known I could use the vacuum of a syringe to pull it.
picture was near dusk, so it is dark
The petiole is hollow.
There are marks on the leaf made by its mouth.
They look like a kiss :()
Looks like the one in Campinas.
not the best of photos, but maybe sufficient for an id
The coin in one of the pictures is a Brazilian one real coin, about the size of an American quarter. This bug is dead and a little bit dirty, but it's the only one of these I've seen to get a picture.
There are some little insects using this flower.
Those trees were planted more than 10 years ago.
