I found this skink in Springbrook National Park in Queensland, Australia. Sort of coppery skin, bit of a stubby tail. It wasn't particularly big.

Calling, unmistakably. Glimpsed crashing about through the branches.
In the lower carpark. Quite colorful.
Cool bark, like a woven basket.
