This is a very poor quality distant photo of the Rough-legged Hawk that has been hanging out along Stevens Road in Norwich, VT, for the past few days. This bird gave us beautiful views, the best I've had of this species. It perched on this tree for a while before flying off, showing off its black belly coloration beautifully.
