Here is a picture of a sea cucumber from Venezuela. It was originally posted on Flickr under Creative Commons licence, then transferred to Wikipedia Commons. Somebody identified it as "Holothuria mexicana", but to my eyes it does not look like H. mexicana. I would say "Isostichopus badionotus", but I am not an expert of Caribbean species... Thanks for ID !
Black/white male, large and pregnant. Hidden in softcorals, couple with black/white female i found last year. Depth: 5m/15ft. Bonaire, divesite: Karpata.
Orange male, large and pregnant. Breeding couple with female i found in 04-2013. Male discovered in 10-2013. Changed from red to black to orange color. Still in same area. Depth: 4m/12ft. Klein bonaire, divesite: Nearest Point.
Orange/white female, small. Moving on sand/coral rubble. Found a breeding couple in same area last year. (see older observations) More smaller seahorses recently observed here. Depth: 4m/12ft. Bonaire, divesite: Calabas reef/chachacha beach.
Brown/white male, medium. Hidden in soft corals, together with smaller female (no picture yet). Depth: 10m/33ft. Bonaire, divesite: Andrea I.
Brown/white male, large. Sitting in soft corals around same coral head for a couple of months already, female not yet found. Depth: 18m/60ft. Bonaire, divesite: Andrea I.
Two adults and four youngsters were perched on this same railing, but the others all flew away before I got a photo.
