This caiman hung out in a pond on the lodge grounds. The staff called it Lorenzo.

Saw this little Alligator at 6:20 pm on CR 234 ("Angle Road") between Micanopy, FL and the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail.
Roadkill. The tail was taken by locals for the meat, the rest was left for the vultures.
Only a small population of this species lives in the area.

Pulled up to LNRA boat ramp 3 on Lake Texana and saw these 2 gators just a few yards out.
