This rather large (10+ ft) animal was resting on a fallen log in the cypress swamp (near the Lettuce Lakes) at Corkscrew Swamp.
Surprisingly, this little 4 to 5 ft alligator was the first one we've seen all week here in the Sanibel area. This one was resting at the edge of Wildlife Drive on Ding Darling NWR.

This little guy was small enough to be cute! There was another baby close by, as well as a full grown adult, which our guide thought was the mother.
Seen on our crocodile tour. We saw so many crocodiles on this tour, some old, very large ones as well as babies. The locals have names for them, like Sadam, Diablo, etc.

DOR. Certainly one of the more interesting road kills I've come across. Two local fisherman drug it out of the road after it was hit a few hours before I came along.
