Basking on the edge of the fire road about 10m north of "The Hub."
Great to see these guys too. They are such colorful and pretty lizards.
One of several Side-blotched lizards (both adults and juveniles) I had encountered that were trying to take advantage of the late afternoon sun and heat.
A small (3.5 cm SV) Western Side-blotched Lizard that I had found, basking on the concrete pavement in front of the ranger house, around 3 pm in the 85 degree warmth of the afternoon.
Found another one.
Plenty of them in Santee CA by the school office buildings below Kindercare on Cuyamaca street and around the area where the YMCA is.
