looks very similar to marble leaf but I don't think it is
Located on the northern bank of the Brown River, next to bridge, crossing the Aorere river.
This tree, possibly a Pittosporum species, was growing naturally along the Cockayne track near Kelly's Creek. Its leaf is the shape of a lemonwood leaf, but it is pale with red spots, similar to a Pseudowintera colorata leaf.
One of my favourite natives.
Common canopy tree
-species 5-quintinia serrata
Something observed in our 10x10 plot in Kelly's Creek in Arthurs Pass.
