Now retired, I work seasonally in Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska as manager of Interpretive Services for Doyon/Aramark Joint Venture (2008-2017). The concessionaire provides 2 tours and the visitor transportation system in the park. Alaska is a beautiful place, the park has amazing landscapes, plants and animals. Flowers start blooming early, which literally happens overnight in this short spring. Climate change is wreaking havoc on ecosystems in the park. Tree line has advanced upward by 600' (3000-3600'). Finding flowers and trees where they shouldn't be is testament to this global phenomenon.
