I am a wildlife biologist from Bangladesh and my interests span ecology and molecular taxonomy of herpetofauna and mammals (especially primates). I have been working on herpetofauna and primates for the last eight years, from the very beginning of my University life. I have developed skills in molecular analysis of amphibians and reptiles and acoustic analysis of frog and primate’s calls. I have described a tiny bush frog (Raorchestes rezakhani) from Bangladesh and added several amphibians and reptiles to the national checklist. At the same time, I am also working on the primates of Bangladesh. For the first time in Bangladesh I conducted a research on Endangered Bengal slow loris (Nycticebus bengalensis). My MSc. thesis was on endangered Phayre’s Langurs (Trachypithecus phayrei).
