I am a recently relocated resident to Ashland, Oregon, a small city nestled in the Rogue Valley. Here in Oregon, I am working with the Southern Oregon Regional Environmental Education Leaders (SOREEL) to increase access to citizen science for educators, residents, and visitors to our area.

I'm excited that this region of Oregon will be the second location in which I've worked with the City Nature Challenge, a global biodiversity survey led by the Natural History Museum of LA County and the California Academy of Sciences!

Before relocating to Southern Oregon, I ran the citizen science and outdoor education programs at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science (Frost Science) in Miami, FL. I also developed programs and exhibits for the museum's new state-of-the-art aquarium facility in Downtown Miami. Frost Science's citizen science program has a strong focus on biodiversity at sites restored by the museum's flagship conservation program, Museum Volunteers for the Environment, as well as biodiversity of Miami-Dade County in general.
