I love being outdoors. Camping, hiking, and backpacking are some of my favorite activities. I find that knowing what I am looking at gives me a greater appreciation of the world. Birds and plants are some of the organisims that interest me. However, I tend to view myself more as an ecologist rather than a specialist in any taxon. Like the Missouri -- I'm a mile wide and a foot deep.
