I am a (renewable) energy engineer and I have a deep love for, and fascination with, the whole of the natural environment... Originally from Pretoria and based in Cape Town, I was working on decentralised electricity schemes in north-eastern Afghanistan and, more recently, in Guyana, Tanzania and Belize which has given me opportunities to get out and about in some really interesting parts of those countries and regions.
