Jim Johnson Curator

I live in Vancouver, Washington, USA. Although I am interested in a wide array of groups, my passion is for Odonata (dragonflies and damselflies) which I have been studying since 1995 and photographing since 2006. I am most familiar with the western North American species, but I can be of help with Odonata of the New World in general.

I am very much involved with the Dragonfly Society of the Americas. I have served as Associate Editor and have served on the Executive Council in one position or another. Currently I serve as Immediate Past President.

Many of my photos and information on Odonata (particularly with regard to Oregon) is at http://odonata.bogfoot.net/. I post intermittently on my Northwest Dragonflier blog at http://nwdragonflier.blogspot.com/.
