I am a semi-retired science teacher & marine ecologist.

A little about me:
I have bachelor and master degrees from San Francisco State University, where I worked and studied at the Romberg Tiburon Center (RTC). After leaving RTC I spent a few years at the Bodega Marine Lab working as part of an interdisciplinary team looking at ecotoxicology in salt marshes as part of the Pacific Estuarine Ecosystem Indicator Research (PEEIR) program. Then I transitioned to teaching for a sane schedule and stable employment.

For my second career, I settled into teaching science to high school students. Now, after a number of years teaching I am transitioning yet again. I do freelance curricular design and consultation https://mrsjudah.wixsite.com/my-siteworked , and substitute teaching. I worked briefly part time at the California Academy of Sciences, and will soon be joining their volunteer dive team.

Special thanks to fellow teacher-naturalist Julie Bryne for turning me on to iNaturaist!
