Temidayo is a nature enthusiast with her interests in bat ecology, conservation in different landuse set ups. She seeks to understand how bat ecology links beliefs, myths and tradition. She has been working on bats for about nine years now, learning about the taxa species identification through dedicated platforms like inaturalist as well as guides on mammals of Africa.
Temidayo is dedicated to her research and seeks to explore more in the aspects of diets, landuse and anthropogenic activities. She is currently a final year PhD student at the Ornithology and wildlife
conservation unit department of wildlife and ecotourism management University of Ibadan, with her research focus on bat compositions and activities within different landuse and how anthropogenic activities affect bat species persistent in southwest, Nigeria. She has had training opportunities on bat ecology and acoustics.
Temidayo seeks more training opportunities on taxonomy and as well as molecular analysis to help with new species she encounters on field.
Temidayo enjoys traveling, music( blues and jazz),family time as well as nature walks.
