My lifer today - the Craveri's Murrelet. You can see where the black shoulder patch sticks out a bit where the body meets the water, and you can see that its bill is a bit longer and thinner than the Scripp's Murrelet. Well, you can see those things if you want to! What was really cool about this sighting is that there were 5 Craveri's around, and they were vocalizing! This one took off soon after and showed us its grey underwing linings, which is truly the diagnostic mark.
