I have many pics from this crazy weekend, but this was the show-stopper: Babakina festiva, a rarely encountered slug whose life habits are largely unknown. I saw it on the side of a rock I had just lifted, so it looked like a colorful pink blob of goo. It wasn't until I placed it in water that I realized what I had (thanks to Jeff's recent photos). And, of course, right as I was whipping out my camera, the tsunami hit.
