I only found the nest because I became aware of the alarm calls of the male ? I was actually photographing a weevil in the long grass only 3 ft from the nest. When I saw the bird responsible for the calls I knew what sort of nest to look for. The nest is 18 inches above the ground in a scotch broom bush.
