This beautiful jewel damselfly was a very low flier. Even when disturbed (and it was tolerant of disturbance), it would not fly more than a couple inches above the water surface. It perched on floating vegetation and on the barely not-submerged bamboo bridge that it was observed from. In middle of flowing stream. When it would fly into the direct sunlight, the blue prunose tip would glow. Combined with its primarily yellow legs, it was quite a display. Smaller than the other jewels that I observed.
