Shield Shell (Scutus breviculus)

Description

Large solid black body, Slimy to the touch.
When stroked shield shell is exposed, tends to be about a third of the length of the body but not to wide. Looks like a Paua with-out its shell.
Has a large foot that takes up 80~% of the underside.
Has two antennae and a mouth in between them at the head of the animal. Slow moving and its skin id toxic to animals if it is eaten.
