Have seen this nest at the base of some Lady fern, Athyrium filix-femina growing on the rocks.
It was made of old dry leaves of the fern and mosses and not to be recognised as globose nest before i took it down.
I am not sure if it was made for example by a small rodent or any bird, thus my ID of Animals.
