Description

This male hylid was found calling at night after the first rain of the season above a temporary pond along the 'Hummingbird Highway'. At least six other frog species, including the Mexican Burrowing Toad (Rhinophrynus dorsalis) and one snake (Leptodeira septentrionalis) were found in sympatry on that same night.
