I couldn't get my point-and-shoot camera to focus on the thin, narrow branches or (old) flowers in this clump of plants; nonetheless, this is a distinctive plant. It was growing on a slightly damp river bank of the Pecos River, on the Pecos Co. side at Texas Rock Road.
