Description

Here's one of two Epiactis lisbethae or Brooding Anemones I saw today at low tide, hanging onto a boulder. It was only about 1/2" diameter. These are different from the Brooding Anemones on iNaturalist, Epiactis prolifera. I found them on p.86 of Lamb & Hanby's book, Marine Life of the Pacific Northwest.
